Dying Easter Eggs
The weather has finally became nice enough that we had the desire to take our bikes out. Yesterday, we biked to Richard's work, ate lunch and then returned home. It was a gorgeous day! We both missed riding our bikes so much! I forgot to wear sunscreen and needless to say got pretty burned on my arms. I should know better. One day I'll learn. We had such a fun time together. I have to pedal pretty hard and fast to keep up with Richard, as it's bike tires are huge compared to my bike. I get a work out while he is slowly pedaling.Oh the joys of being short and having a smaller bike.
Richard and I decided that we would dye Easter eggs. I wanted to be a bit more creative and got the tye-dying kit. We did a couple that way and they turned out okay. We invited my friend Alyssa (who lives in Rexburg) to come join in on the fun.
Even though it's fun dying Easter eggs, doing baskets, and cooking a nice dinner. The true meaning of Easter is to celebrate the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ. How grateful I'm to him. He loved me so much, he was willing to give his own life so that I may be forgiven of all my sins. I know that he is the Redeemer of the World and still lives. On the Easter, may remember he who has risen, Jesus Christ.
