I can't believe I'm already 18 weeks. Time has really been flying by. This picture I'm not in the same shirt, but I had Richard take it before I left for work and not after, so I don't look so tired.
How Far Along: 18 weeks
Maternity clothes: Yes
Ring: On
Stretch marks: no
Sleep: I'm only waking up 2-3 times to go to the bathroom now. Been getting better sleep with my new pillow, the "snoogle" and I put a pillow under my hip. Richard say's I'm in in prison.
Best moments of this week: Richard's comment to me "Are you sticking out your stomach?" Me: "No, that's all baby, hunny." The other night, we had stayed up late and I could feel the baby kicking. I had Richard press his hand on my stomach to see if he could feel it. He did, but didn't believe it and said "I think that's your heart beating." Since when is my heart in my belly? He finally came to grips that it was the baby and he thought it was pretty cool. I wore a long necklace to work and Richard was concerned. He said I shouldn't wear it because it could catch on something and I could fall. (He's getting pretty protective of me). I wore it and no injuries were had.
Thankful for: People at school that are willing to help me with things like hang things up on my bulletin boards or make copies for me.
Missing anything: hot baths. I've been sick and my body aches. A luke warm bath just isn't cutting it.
Movement: Yes. It's an early bird (like it's mom). I feel flutters at 6:00 am every morning!I bought some children songs that sing in English and French and it when I play them, the baby starts to move.
Food Cravings: Mexican and Chinese food.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Smells. The expo markers I use on the white board at school smell gross!
How You Feel: I've been sick. My body has aches, sore throat, and exhausted. I've been getting headaches again, which is a total bummer.
Gender: I had a dream it was a boy. I'm really unsure this week. Richard is standing firm on thinking it's a girl. Everyone keeps saying I'm glowing, so maybe it's a girl. Others say the way I'm growing it has to be a boy. Who knows?
Labor Signs: No
preparation for birth and exercise: Going to the gym, but since I've been sick for part of this week I've been slacking.
Happy or moody most of the time: Pretty moody.
Looking Forward to: Getting over this cold and not having headaches.
