The Overcrowded Science Discovery Center

Did you love the science discovery center as a kid? I sure did and still do! So, when Nicky mentioned that this was a possibilty for something for us to do, I jumped at the offer. I was excited! Lily was excited and asked if should could bring her imaginary boyfriend "Brunt" along. LaLa and I agreed that there was room for him. We headed off to the discovery center with postive attitudes that we were going to have a grand time. We got there and it was filled with camp groups upon camp groups and was truly filled to the max. Lily was able to have fun being a typical three year old, while Nicky, Leticia and I followed her around watching her. I wanted to be a kid again, but I had to be "mature" and let the real kids have all the turns; darnit! I was able to capture some darling pictures of Lily. In the end, we stayed there about 1 1/2 hrs. All of our nerves were shot by the end and we were drained. It was a wonderful last day in Cali that we got to spend with our adorable niece and wonderful sister-n-law. I have found that things may not always go according to how we want them to in life, but looking for the positive things in the situation is the best solution.
