I can't believe how fast my pregnancy is going. It is going by fast. There have been times I have loved it and times that I'm done with it. We have slowly started to put the baby room together. We finished putting the princess bassinet together this past week, we took the car seat out of the box and figure out how that worked. The next project is putting the crib together and rearranging the bed. We are excited for our little girl to join our family in 3 1/2 months. I can't wait to meet this sweet little one.
My belly has really "popped out" this week
My belly looks more "slimming" in this black shirt.
On my birthday, I went and bought this shirt. From a front view, you can't tell I'm pregnant in this shirt. From behind I also don't look pregnant. (That is the most common comment I get).
How Far Along: 24 weeks
Maternity clothes: Yes.
Ring: In week 23, my fingers began swelling. My ring still fit, but I took it off just in case they swelled more and I wouldn't be able to get it off.
Stretch marks: no
Sleep: I finally found that sleeping with 5 pillows and arranging them a certain way, I get rest. It's kind of pain when I have to get up to go to the bathroom though.
Best moments of this week: My birthday and having the day off. It was a teacher-work day, because I had parent-teacher conferences. It was nice to relax and do what I wanted to do!
Thankful for: Our families and how supportive and excited they are.
Missing anything: Not having to go to the bathroom so much!
Movement: Yes! She currently loves to sit and bounce on my bladder! And I feel her kick a lot.It feels more like bubbles now than flutters. I some times see my belly move. The doctor has told me because my placenta is on top that I don't feel as much movement from her as if it were somewhere else. This is a blessing, since she moves so much!
Food Cravings: BBQ baby! I have been craving BBQ anything! I even just love the smell of BBQ sauce. She is for sure Richard's daughter if I'm craving BBQ. :)
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
How You Feel: Tired! I take naps almost every day after school. :)
Gender: Girl!
Labor Signs: No
preparation for birth and exercise: We have gotten out of the gym routine this past week (after hurting my knee), but I walk so much around my classroom that I count that as exercise.
Looking Forward to: Richard being able to feel her kick.
